Are aliens & intelligent life in the universe avoiding us because we are dumb?

If earth is the blue heart in the universe, get it? Planet heart , the secret of the titanic, but we are a small planet seperated by endless ocean amd the ocean above, so if this ocean is full of life , how can it not be out there? Im sure they are just ghosting us for reasons we know but dont understand...
